New Kawasaki Z650 Launched in Indonesia

The green machine maker, Kawasaki Motors blew the globe away a few weeks back by showcasing the all new Z series including the new Z900 and the Z650. The Z900 is set to replace the ongoing Z800 while the Z650 will replace the ER6n. The company has already launched the Z650 in the Indonesian bike market and there the bike has been priced at IDR 159.9 million which is equivalent to near Rs 8.15 lakh. Since the bike is already launched somewhere around the globe, by Kawasaki’s track record, same will hit the Indian shores very soon.
Talking about the updates over the ER6n, the bike is all-new from head to toe, it’s only the engine, and some other components that have been taken out from the ER6n. Visually, it’s an all-new bike, it gets a new awesome looking front headlight, while the body is housed in an all new trellis frame that will also be seen in the new 2017 Ninja 650. The meter console gets upgraded as the new LCD panel sits at the place of the earlier semi-digital meter. The engine has been tweaked to meet the strict emission norms as it is now Euro IV compliant. While the engine remains the same 649cc parallel-twin unit delivering 69bhp and 72Nm of torque. When launched in India, we expect ABS will be offered as a standard safety feature on the bike and it will be priced around Rs 6 lakh in India.
